Senior Non-Commissioned Officer
RAF Air Cadets
- March 2012 to May 2020
Gained invaluable experience in discipline, uniform, independent thought and leadership – notably the promotion to the position of Sector SNCO, meaning I was responsible for 10 Squadrons with over 200 cadets and 40 members of staff.
Delivered high standards of training in leadership, personal development and resilience.
Community First Responder
Yorkshire Ambulance Service
- June 2018 to Sept 2020
Trained in aspects of emergency first aid and life-saving procedures, attended over 100 callouts to 999 emergency calls over a two-year period. Working under stress, prioritisation and risk analysis were key skills.
