We brought Danny in to manage a complex workstream in our Peak plans. I knew from the interview that Danny would be a good fit – personable, confident, articulate and a great attention to detail in the interview translated well to what he delivered for us. He soon got up to speed and won the confidence of senior people in the organisation and that carried on throughout his time with us, picking up more deliverables in his time with us.

I worked with Danny on a significant restructure project in 2021/22. Danny was a business lead and I was the Change Management lead and I always found working with Danny simple and straight forward. He was always open to hearing new ideas and bringing the business lense to the discussion, to help assess the suitablility of approaches, equally giving appropriate challenge when needed. He was always on top of the actions required, assigning resource and tuned into the key risk areas. I’d not hesitate to say that Danny would be an asset to any business, quickly getting to know what is important and where to assign focus on any project.

I have worked with Danny for a period of around 12 months during his time at Greene King supporting us with a major Transformation project. In my role as PMO Manager, we needed to put in place a standardised framework that allows both effective project management to increase senior stakeholder confidence, as well as allowing the team to be innovative. Danny took the lead on the project and responded positively to suggested improvements identified on how we could improve the management of the project he was tasked with managing. Danny completely transformed the way the project was being managed. He put in place a simple, but effective approach for project planning, along with other project fundamentals such as team building, communication, SteerCo management and RAIDD Management (including decision-making). Whilst making these improvements, he successfully engaged the project team to adapt to new ways of working and all of the project team saw Danny as a key asset to the project.

Danny’s project management capability played a significant part in achieving the opening of a new brand pilot site which has received very positive feedback from our customers.
